Deputy Constable Scott London Investigation on Sexually Explicit Books in Granbury ISD Student Libraries

Check the link above “Rated Books” to gain understanding about the condition of academic student libraries in Granbury ISD.  This started several years ago and has been a fiasco that should have never taken place in a lovely place like Granbury, Texas.
    Image description

Main trouble makers are:  Adrienne Martin (lead of the Democrat Party in Granbury), Granbury ISD Board President Courtney Gore who publicly denied in multiple public outlets that there were/are no book issues.  Chris Tackett who made claims that were unfounded (allegedly the book review process was all about LGBTQ+ and was targeting marginalized groups) and created a lot of animosity between citizens in Granbury that goes on to this day.  These three are behind the recent “documentary” on “banned books.”  Please note that anyone who says books are “banned” in the USA are being disingenuous with the public and insult our intelligence.

What is the Truth?  Read The Governor’s directive at the link above and you will see what kind of content we were reviewing.  In the end the book situation is about simple common sense.  Garbage in, Garbage Out.  Granbury ISD can do MUCH MUCH better.
Please watch the  Video below.  You need to see to understand who Paul Hyde is (Attorney and owner of the Hood County New). Paul was on the book review committee and voted (along with several other committee members to put explicit content BACK in student libraries).

    Victoria Brown Endorses Monica Brown

This Patriot Academy Alumni endorsed her mom for school board!!!

If you're looking for someone who truly cares about students, families, the future of our schools, community involvement, financial responsibility, and who stands firm in her Christian Constitutional Conservative values — vote for my mom, Monica Brown.

She’s the kind of person who doesn’t just talk — she takes action. She shows up, listens, and puts in the work. I’ve seen firsthand how much she cares — not just about me and our family, but about every student having the support and opportunities they need to succeed.

My mom is thoughtful, strong, and fully committed to making GISD better — not just for students, but for parents, teachers, staff, and the entire community.

I fully endorse Monica Brown. If you're wondering who to vote for in this election, I can say this with confidence: choose Monica Brown. It’s a decision you won’t regret.

    Hard Questions about Campaign Ethics

    Hard Questions About Campaign Ethics

One candidate — an attorney and father of a GISD student — has crossed an ethical line by buying misleading domain names to confuse and harm his opponent’s reputation. This tactic violates the Texas Fair Campaign Practices Code and undermines the integrity of this election.

In contrast, his opponent — a 22 year volunteer mother and active member of our school community — has run a campaign focused on respect, transparency, and real issues affecting our schools.
In addition, a longtime trustee and candidate who has served Granbury ISD for over a decade, has remained silent despite these unethical tactics happening in plain sight in this upcoming election as well as the last election cycle.

Also, there are two specific people who regularly get behind the “Establishment” candidates and actively campaign for them and have out of order, unethical behavior.

Why would candidates choose to work with a man who was censored by the Republican Party of Hood County for his unethical behavior and his side kick who has proven to be unhinged and has attacked many conservative leaders in verbally and in writing?

Granbury voters please ask these critical questions:
    • To the attorney-father: Why are you using deceptive tactics like buying domain names to attack your opponent instead of running a fair campaign based on issues?
    • To the volunteer mother: Will you continue to lead with honesty and focus on what truly matters for our students?
    • To the longtime trustee: Help us understand your silence? Will you speak up against unfair and unethical campaign practices and uphold integrity in our community?
    • To the sitting Trustees: Will you operate according to the stated ethics for school board members and will you speak up when your colleagues are out of order with Campaign Ethics?
If a candidate cannot uphold basic ethics while asking for your vote, how can we trust them to act ethically in office?

It’s time for all candidates to be held accountable.

I contend that all will be MUCH BETTER in Granbury when Trustees follow written policy, especially related to ethics.

Conflict of interest between United Way of Hood County and Granbury ISD

    Image description
2nd Question of the Day - What About Decker Gym, United Way of Hood County and Granbury ISD?

Granbury ISD belongs to the people of Granbury — not to insiders, not to private groups, and not to hidden deals. That’s why I’m speaking up about what happened with Decker Gym.
Behind closed doors, Granbury ISD administrators worked to hand over Decker Gym — a publicly owned building — to a private nonprofit, United Way of Hood County, with the purpose of creating an incubator for nonprofits. (September 2024) That may sound like a nice idea on the surface, but how it happened — and who was excluded — tells a different story. Then in 2025 GISD proposed giving the property to United Way of Hood County or giving them a 99 year lease agreement.

The deal was made without transparent public input and no, there is and was NO community-wide discussion.

Even more troubling: the current GISD Board President, Courtney Gore, sits on the board of United Way of Hood County. She did not recuse herself from discussions involving this property transfer — a clear conflict of interest that violates public ethics. This situation undermines trust and integrity about how public assets are managed.
What makes this more concerning is the selective control being exercised. Organizations like Toys for Tots — which serve hundreds of local children — were told they couldn’t store their supplies in the gym, even though there’s adequate space. Why? Because this is no longer a public space in practice. It’s being controlled by a narrow alliance — not by a transparent process.

Let me be clear: I believe in supporting nonprofits. I believe in revitalizing historic buildings like Decker Gym.

I do not believe in backroom deals, insider control, or exclusionary practices. As a community, we must do better — and we can.

If elected, I will push for:
Full transparency in how our facilities are managed.
Community-driven decision-and an independent review of the Decker Gym arrangement.
Granbury ISD doesn’t have a money problem — it has a transparency and logic problem.
Vote FOR: David Rogers, Monica Brown and Jessica Wark - all proven conservatives who will govern over public money with accountability and transparency.

Vote NO to the establishment mindset of Townsend (decades on the board of GISD) , Lawrence (longtime educator) and Neal (former Hyde Law firm Attorney)
